RENTED - Melbourne 3bd, 2 bath

This sweet little number in the Sherwood Neighborhood had been long neglected and needed a complete overhaul. Here are the few pictures I have - there are more to come.  Note the not quite right paint color in the living room.  This one needed a lot of cleaning and the carpets were the first thing to go!  Underneath were some terrazzo floors that would either make or break the budget! 
BEFORE

After some much needed paint and some polishing of the floors this house really looked great!  The kitchen got a complete overhaul (meaning we hauled out the old and brought in some new cupboards!) I really liked the paint color that we chose.  It really brought out the pretty slate blue color in the terrazzo.  

 

AFTER

 The bathroom tile work was in excellent condition and so we decided that it should stay and we could work with the colors.  Don't you just love grey and yellow together?  I thought that a shower curtain in one of the above fabrics would really bring this bathroom together!  Plus I love the retro feel from the yellow tile and tub!

 The kitchen really took on a whole new life - I really like the colors of the paint and cabinets together!

 This was a patio that was converted to living space before we got there - it had carpet that had to go and we added some lovely clean new tile! Makes a great addition in the total living space!

 The interior of the house was painted a beautiful slate blue color.  It really popped against the white ceiling, trim and terrazzo floors!

 I love how beautiful and shiny the terrazzo turned out!

 Each bedroom and living space got new ceilings to allow for good airflow.

 We cleaned up the landscaping and added sod in the front yard.  It really added to the curb appeal.
